Radford Family

About Us

Love’s Grace Farms raises Huacaya and Suri alpacas in central Alberta, Canada. We are located west of the town of Olds and have plenty of fields and pastures for our 200+ animals. We often notice cars slowing down to view our herd as they graze in the pastures. Our driveway also has lots of reflecting markers to help keep our visitors from driving into the ditch!

Mike and Nelda Radford have been raising alpacas since 2003, when the herd consisted of 5 yearling males – Simon, Martin, Brady, Kevin and Grassy. The herd soon grew through acquisitions. Now the herd thrives in our cool weather climate, and we welcome new additions in July when the females have their babies (crias).

Love’s Grace Farms has been selling fiber products from our alpacas since 2007. Their soft, light and warm fiber creates amazing hats, mitts, slippers, sweaters, and more! We hope you enjoy browsing our website for a brief glimpse of our animals and the amazing fiber products that come from them!

A Few Characters in the Herd

Please meet a few of our animals. Some of them have interesting traits and habits, and we have grown fond of them all.
